I took a young couple on a beautiful and epic tour of Jupiter Canyon this weekend. We tested their fear of heights, strength, agility and endurance. They passed with flying colors. As always I took many photos of them for their memories. I also put together this short film for them.
The climb into the canyon entails climbing a short rope. Once in awhile this rope snaps……I always test it first to make sure it’s stable. In this case it snapped on me! Luckily I carry extra rope with me and rigged a brand new rope for them to climb up with.
Situations like this is exactly why you want an experienced guide. They carry rope and make sure conditions are safe for you. That is always my priority.
